Privacy Policy

Arvena Sciences ("we", "us", "our") operates arvenasciences.in and the client portal reachable from it. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how it's stored, and the rights you have over it. It's written to describe what this site actually does — not generic boilerplate.

What we collect

If you fill out the contact form

• Name, email, and any of phone, WhatsApp number, company name, website/social link, and target markets you choose to provide
• The message you write
• Your IP address (for spam prevention)

If you subscribe to email updates

• Your email address, and confirmation status (we use a confirm-by-email step before sending anything, and every email includes an unsubscribe link)

If you register for the client portal

• Name, email, phone, and company name
• Your password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — we cannot see or recover your actual password, ever)
• Any enquiries, messages, and documents you submit or upload through the portal
• Basic session information (login timestamps, IP address, browser identifier) used to keep your account secure

How we use it

Solely to operate this website and deliver the services you've asked for: responding to enquiries, running your client portal account, exchanging documents and messages with you, and sending the email updates you've explicitly opted into. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it to anyone.

Who can see it

Arvena Sciences staff, for the purpose of delivering the service you've engaged us for. We do not share your data with third-party marketing, analytics, or advertising services — this site currently runs no such tools. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated first.

Where it's stored

On servers operated by our hosting provider (Hostinger), with the database and file storage kept outside the public web root and access-controlled. Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. All traffic to this site is encrypted (HTTPS).

How long we keep it

For as long as your client account or an active enquiry is open, and for a reasonable period afterward for our own record-keeping and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "Your rights" below), and we'll do so unless we're required to retain it for a legitimate business or legal reason.

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you logged into the client portal or admin panel securely. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and general good practice, you can ask us to: tell you what data we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, delete it, or withdraw consent for anything you'd previously opted into (like the newsletter — you can also just use the unsubscribe link in any email). To exercise any of these, email contact@arvenasciences.in.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
